Spiritual community activities at Galilee Hospital;

Praying for the sick people from 8:30- 9:30 AM, Every Sunday and Friday.

 

We need medical Volunteers in the Medical Sector(Public Health) in surport of the growing number of patients treated at the Center Irrespective of their religion and Ethinic back ground, We consider all to be spiritually Jewish.

Here at the institute, we are inspired by the Jewish value of study for its own sake. The Monaco Institute of science hosts an array of Judaica programs, including continuing education classes such as Hebrew language courses to encourage literacy, dialogue and understanding for and among people of all backgrounds. 

In addition, the Kampala Synagogue which is based at the campus serves as a bridge between all students at the insititute and the broader community interested in higher Jewish education.

More Books Donations are welcome for the Judaic studies and also the Hebrew Languages clases.

What is Taught and Skills gained:

Hebrew Language (Beginner) (conducted in Hebrew & English)

Course Goals: 

To impart a love for the Hebrew language as the fundamental language of the Jewish people. To impart skills in conversation, reading and writing. To impart love for and knowledge of Jewish history and culture. 

Skills Taught: 

  • Conversation
  • Writing sentences, paragraphs and short essays
  • Reading comprehension
  • Verbs in various conjugations in present tense; other parts of speech; numbers
  • Basic vocalization skills
  • Accurate pronunciation
Course: 
Hebrew Language (Advanced) (conducted in Hebrew & English)

Course Goals: 

To impart a love for the Hebrew language as the fundamental language of the Jewish people. To impart skills in conversation, reading and writing. To impart love for and knowledge of Jewish history and culture.

  • Everyday conversation
  • Writing sentences, paragraphs and short essays
  • Reading comprehension
  • Verbs in various conjugations in present and past tenses and other parts of speech; numbers
  • Basic vocalization skills (nekudot)
  • Accurate pronunciation
